How to Use

  1. 1Open an image by clicking the drop area or dragging and dropping a file.
  2. 2Apply filters: toggle grayscale or sepia, adjust brightness and contrast sliders to fine-tune the look.
  3. 3Add a watermark: enter text, choose position (top-left, center, etc.), and adjust size, opacity, and color.
  4. 4Apply blur effect with adjustable intensity for background softening or privacy protection.
  5. 5Preview the result in real time on the right panel — all adjustments update instantly.
  6. 6Select output format and quality, then click Save to save the edited image.
  7. 7How to add a transparent watermark to protect your photos: open your image, enter your watermark text in the watermark section, set opacity to 30-50% for a subtle but visible mark, choose bottom-right position, and select a contrasting color. The watermark is permanent once saved.
  8. 8How to create a vintage photo effect: open a color photo, enable the Sepia filter for warm vintage tones, increase contrast by 20-30% to add depth, and slightly reduce brightness by 5-10% for an aged look. Preview the result in real time and save as JPEG.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I combine multiple filters?

Yes. You can apply grayscale, sepia, brightness, contrast, and blur simultaneously. They are applied in sequence for a combined effect. For example, applying sepia with increased contrast creates a vintage photo look. All filters update in real-time preview.

How does the watermark work?

The watermark is rendered as text overlaid on your image. You can customize the text content, position (top-left, top-right, center, bottom-left, bottom-right), font size, opacity (transparency), and color. The watermark is applied permanently to the output image.

Can I remove a filter after applying it?

Yes. All filters and watermark settings are applied in real-time preview. You can toggle any filter on or off, or adjust sliders, and the preview updates instantly. Only when you click Save is the final image saved with all active effects.

What are the output format options?

You can save as JPEG (best for photos, smaller file size), PNG (preserves transparency, larger file size), or WebP (modern format, best compression). JPEG fills transparent areas with white. Choose based on your use case — WebP is recommended for web use.

Can I adjust the blur intensity?

Yes. The blur effect has an adjustable intensity slider. Higher values produce stronger blur. This is useful for softening backgrounds, creating depth-of-field effects, or blurring sensitive information for privacy.

Will the watermark affect image quality?

The watermark is rendered directly onto the pixel data and does not reduce image quality. However, the final quality depends on your chosen output format and quality setting — JPEG at lower quality may show artifacts around the watermark text.

Are there any file size limits?

Since all processing happens in your browser, the practical limit depends on your device's available memory. Most images under 50MB work fine. Very large images (100MB+) may cause performance issues on lower-end devices.

Is my image uploaded to a server?

No. All image editing happens entirely in your browser using the HTML5 Canvas API. Your image is never uploaded, stored, or transmitted anywhere.

Can I blur faces or sensitive information in a photo?

Yes. Use the blur effect with adjustable intensity to obscure faces, license plates, or sensitive data. Increase the blur strength to make the area unrecognizable. Note that the blur applies to the entire image — there is no selective area blur in this version.

Does this tool support layers or undo history?

No. All edits are applied non-destructively in the preview, but once you click Save, the effects are permanently applied to the saved image. There is no layer support or undo history. We recommend keeping your original image as a backup before editing.
