Can I place the signature exactly where I want it on the page?

This tool adds a drawn or typed image signature (an electronic signature), not a certificate-based digital signature. Systems that require a digital signature (e-sign platforms, some government portals, contracts with PKI requirements) verify a cryptographic certificate chain, and an image signature carries none. For those cases, use a digital signature service that issues a certificate, or confirm with the receiver that a simple electronic signature is acceptable.
Why does my signature disappear when I convert the signed PDF to Word?
PDF-to-Word conversion keeps text and layout but frequently drops vector annotations and transparent overlays; a signature placed as an annotation is exactly the kind of element that gets lost. If you need the signature preserved, convert to an image-based format or print to PDF again, and keep the original signed PDF as the authoritative copy.
